When Life Seems to Knock You Down...

When life knocks you down, get back up, dust yourself off and begin again.  Sometimes in this life we encounter obstacles that overwhelm us, and knock us down into a place that seems to be so deep that we may never see the top of soil again.  Then there are times when it seems that we are going to take forever to get out of the place that we are in.  In all of this we still must have the tenacity to keep moving forward, even if it means that we must dig ourselves out of a ditch.  We must understand that when we begin to dig the Lord is by our side helping us along the way.  I have been in a battle the last few months of my life.  It seems at times that I have become entangled in a rut that appears extremely difficult to get out of.  This web of disappointment, one right after another, at times tries to consume every part of my being so that I will be blinded to the things that matter the most in this world.  My relationship with God and my love for Him out weighs any difficulty or dis

It's Better to Forgive

In this life there are so many reasons to hold on to the things of the past and onto the things that people have done to you or I that caused hurt or pain.  However, there is never a reason good enough for one to hold on to the pain of what someone else has done when it only causes you misery.  Many people think that to hold on to the pain of the past or the hurt that one has done to wrong them will some how be more beneficial for them.  They may think that when they hold on to it it reminds them of what happened so they will never allow that to happen again.  Unfortunately this is so very far from the truth.  It is important to deal with the wrong that a person or persons has done to you and then let it go and move on.  Jesus told His disciples to forgive 70 times 7.  This did not mean that He wanted them to take an accurate count of how many times a person does them wrong and then once they get to the final number they are out of luck and no more forgiveness is granted.  Instead He w

Use the gifts that you have within

When I read about the gifts and callings being without repentance, in the bible, I think about how may people live their lives day to day without using the gifts and callings that God has placed on their lives.  As I sat here today at my dining room table, ready to write this blog, I thought about how the conversations in heaven must go.  It came to me, that God in heaven must look down on His people and ask the angels some questions that may go like this, "Why won't my people use the gifts and talents that I have instilled in them?, They pray for an answer, and I reveal it to them, yet they don't trust the revelation.  When will they get to a point where they understand all that I have is theirs because I am a covenant keeping God.  I don't take gifts or callings back once they are given  to them.  What will it take for them to see that I have given them everything that they need to have dominion over all things in the earth?  Above all I have given them my Son, Jesus

Know who you are and Whose you are....

Greetings, Just a note to say, you are special and unique in your own way.  You may not be what others think you should be, but that does not mean that you are not beautiful just the way your are.  We must know who we are and whose we are.  We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God and that alone makes us unique.  Sometimes people complain about you because they are not happy with themselves.  Never allow their actions to make you act in a way that is not a pleasant way or in a way that takes away from the person that you  are striving to become.  We all are trying to be better and to do better and if we are not we should begin to today.  I believe in you, but you must believe in yourself.  You are special and you are unique.  You must know who you are and whose you are.  Understand your purpose, if you don't know your purpose ask God to show you your purpose.  Act our the dreams that you have.  Don't just wait on opportunity to come to you, seek out opportunity and look fo

Keep Moving Forward

Today is a day to keep moving forward, no matter what it looks like around you and no matter what you hear or what others are saying about your situation keep moving forward.  Remember God has the final say so and sometimes we put ourselves in a situation where we allow what others say about us and what they think about us to cripple our progress, but please do not do that anymore from this day forward.  You know the enemy has no power over you and the only power that he has is the power that you or I give to him.  He cannot control your destiny or halt your destiny or even change your destiny.  God has the final say so about your destiny and your purpose.  I have been thinking about a lot of things in my life here lately and one thing that I have discovered is that I have to begin to think that things will change, to say that things will change and to act as if things have already changed.  When I think about change in my life my perception becomes different about my current situation

Change will Come

Good morning women of purpose and men of destiny, Have you ever prayed for change to come in your life, your finances, you home, your job, in your children, relationships and/or business and it seems to be delayed for some reason.  Have you ever took a moment or a step back and asked the question why?  Or evaluated your actions to determine if possibly you are the cause of the delay?  Not in a sense that you are the cause of the delay because of a personality flaw, but in a sense that something you are doing, or a way you are thinking is causing the delay for change in your life.  We hear the word preached over and over again about how the Lord wants to bless us and that if we are willing and obedient we will eat the good of the land, or that He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that works in us, or that above all God wants us to prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers....I could go on and on.  So I believe

Getting Your Passion Back

Good morning, As I sit here I am compelled to share with you my thoughts and my feelings.  I want to start by asking a question?  Have you ever felt like you lost your mojo or  your passion to do.  Have you ever been in a place where you felt like you were missing that spice or that one thing that you needed to keep you going forward?  A place of stagnation.  I know this feeling all too well and I understand what it feels like all too well.  Especially when you are in ministry and called to do a work for God.  It seems that you are at a point of flying high, encouraged and then you become at a low place where you cry for no reason or you just feel some kind of way.  I wonder could it be that God is trying to carry you to the next level and you are simply having growing pains.  Could it be a level that you are at that you have surpassed and now God is saying prove me for who I am and allow me to take you to a place that you have never been before in a area of anointing that you have ne
